The final stages of construction were recently finished for the Dayboro Showgrounds' rodeo arena upgrade, which could be great news for residents living in Caboolture real estate.
Moreton Bay Regional Council recently provided a new holding yard and spectator stand with a price tag of $240,000 as part of the $67million worth of investment being put into recreation, parks and sports across the region in 2014/15.
After the upgrades, the arena will now be safer for visitors and spectators' with Division 11 Councillor Bob Millar stating the previous predominantly timber arena had reached the end of its life.
"The renovation upgrade gives rodeo the space it needs to grow at Dayboro and I'm pleased it has been completed in time for the annual Dayboro Rodeo spectacular in May," said Mr Millar in a 27 February statement.
Dayboro Rodeo Association President Jacqui French said the infrastructure update and council commitment to ensuring it was repaired highlights the Moreton Bay's place as a premier tourist and event destination.
If you're interested in moving into the community, now could be a brilliant time to get in touch with a local real estate agent to start discussing the property options available to you.
