Residents of Caboolture real estate will have time to celebrate on May 10 with the fun of music, colours and cuisine as George Willmore Park hosts The Hills Carnivale – a celebration of all the cultural diversity the region has to offer. This could be a lovely way to spend the day, with a wide range of enjoyable stands for both children and parents alike.
Moreton Bay Regional Council Councillor Brian Battersby said the Carnivale has a history of creating an atmosphere of vibrant fun for the community.
"It celebrates the wonderful diversity in our community and helps to raise funds for local groups and organisations. Circus, Circus is this year's theme which will feature plenty of acrobatics and circus performances and free kids workshops teaching circus skills," said Mr Battersby in an April 23 statement.
"Hills Carnivale includes food from around the world with multicultural food stalls, Eritrean cooking demonstrations, featuring Chef Saba Abrahams from the popular Mu'ooz Restaurant."
With a range of roving entertainers and activities, there will be two stages of entertainment – playing everything from contemporary jazz to tribute bands playing some of the greatest songs ever made.
To top the evening off, there will be a magnificent fireworks display at 6:30 p.m., wrapping up a wonderful day of good old-fashioned family entertainment.
