Surviving your routine Caboolture rental inspection

By James Brown

As a tenant in Caboolture real estate, chances are you're used to having regular rental inspections by your property manager.

Whether these are every quarter, biannually or every 12 months, ensuring you take the right steps to prepare the property can help relieve any stress you might have about the process.

The sooner you begin prepping and cleaning the house, the less stress there will be as the date approaches. Cleaning the bathroom and showers, washing floors, polishing fixtures – these are just some of the things you might want to take care of in the week leading up to the inspection.

Small things like checking all the lights and taps work before the property manager gets to the property will help you avoid any uncomfortable questions, giving you the confidence that everything is in its right place and working as it should be.

However, don't forget that this is your chance to bring up any issues you have with the home. Make sure you create a list of any queries or problems you want to bring up with the property manager, so that you can get them taken care of with ease.
