Residential construction activity has already stolen many headlines over recent months, but its strength looks set to continue well into 2015.
The Housing Industry Association (HIA) has released its Summer 2015 edition of the National Outlook, which suggests there could be plenty more real estate in Elimbah in the pipeline.
HIA chief economist Harley Dale revealed that 195,936 commencements are predicted to get underway in 2014-15, which would be a particularly impressive outcome for the industry.
"That result would represent growth of 7.7 per cent and cap a third year in a row where new home construction has headed higher," noted Mr Dale.
"Imagine how weak the Australian economy would be without new housing and its economic multiplier benefits!"
The HIA explained that not only is construction essential to economic success, but it's also important to make sure Australia's ageing population will have somewhere to live.
With people generally living for longer, it makes sense for builders to meet demand before it is needed, as there are high hopes that the average age will only continue to rise.
No matter whether you're looking for new-build or established property in the Elimbah area, make sure you speak to the team at Ray White Caboolture.
