If you’re planning on moving to Caboolture real estate in the near future, you could find the area is undergoing some pretty big changes.
Moreton Bay Regional Council has released its budget for the next financial year and it focuses on improving infrastructure and services in towns and cities.
Mayor Allan Sutherland revealed how the region is one of the fastest growing in the country, so it’s essential to make sure everyone’s needs are met.
“With population predicted to increase in our region by 40 per cent over two decades, this budget is the next instalment of council’s strategic blueprint for the delivery of road, transport and community infrastructure now, and for the next generation,” he said.
Various projects are to receive funding in the 2014-15 budget, including $8 million that has been given to the construction of Brown Street Bridge.
Meanwhile, $29 million has been allocated to the new road and rail bridges connecting the Moreton Bay Rail Link, while the Moreton Bay University project is also expected to make progress over the coming year.
There’s something for everyone already in the Caboolture region, but this latest budget will help make sure you’re given access to the best possible services and facilities.
