Approaching an elderly age can be daunting. However, one way to look at it is that they're your golden years and should be embraced as such. Elderly residents of Caboolture real estate should be aware of the Older & Bolder program across the Morton Bay region.
Offering over 180 activities across the area, Moreton Bay Regional Council Parks, Recreation & Sport spokesperson councillor Gary Parsons said the annual program is set to run from 1 September through to the end of November.
"Older & Bolder is a great, low cost way to discover new activities, keep fit and meet up with like-minded people. With 184 activities including kayaking, photography workshops, guided tours and cooking classes, there's something to suit all lifestyles and interests," said Mr Parsons in a 12 August statement.
There are also multi-session passes for selected fitness events, which could present a wonderful opportunity to get out, participate and socialise for the older residents of the Caboolture area. With everything from Travel Photography and iPad for Beginners through to Mahjong, Outrigger Canoeing and Growing in Summer with Tropical Vegetables – there is sure to be a little something for everyone's taste.
