New infrastructure is always a wonderful thing for a community to have unveiled, with the constant commitment to growth highlighting a dedication to growth and progress. And residents of Caboolture real estate are in luck this weekend, as the Moreton Bay Council opens the new $45 million library, community centre and commercial complex called The Corso this Saturday (13 September).
Mayor Allan Sutherland said the building would be the first 5 Star Green Star rated public space in Queensland – falling in line with the increasing emphasis of cleaner, more sustainable living across the state.
"The Corso at North Lakes is unlike any other building to be opened in the Moreton Bay Region with smart, state-of-the-art technology to help reduce energy costs by up to a third and create a better environment for library members," said Mr Sutherland in an 8 September statement.
With more than 65,000 items available for people to borrow, landscaped gardens and a playground for the children, the space could become a fantastic bonus for the local community. Pop along this weekend to get a first hand glimpse at the new library space and experience the new slice of Caboolture infrastructure in person.
