New skate park open to community feedback

By James Brown

The Moreton Council has opened up discussion to the public about a new skate park for the region. If you own Caboolture real estate, this could be an opportunity to become involved in the future growth of your community, with an online survey available until 1 May to gather opinions and gauge public sentiment.

Division 11 councillor Bob Millar said investigations have identified an area in Narangba within the existing Sports and Recreation Complex that could offer a great location for this development. Feedback from the public through the online survey will provide the council with insight into the allocation of funding for the project.

"It's a great opportunity for the young people of Narangba to help shape the future of sport and recreation in our community, and it takes just a few minutes to have your say," said Mr Millar in an 8 April statement.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is something to be embraced and encouraged, and the possibility of giving the young people of Moreton Bay a skate and BMX park to have a fun space to exercise, socialise and practice their skills could be on the horizon.
