The beaches, parks and nearby forests make Caboolture a great place to spend the summer, and now teenagers in the region will have an easy and inexpensive way to enjoy the best the suburb has to offer.
The Moreton Bay Regional Council has just announced a holiday program that provides subsidised activities to keep local high schoolers occupied during the holidays.
Super Holiday Activities for Teenagers will run from January 13 to January 24, with activity bookings open on December 10 this year.
The first day kicks off with wakeboarding, ten pin bowling and paddle boarding.
If your teens are eager to try a spot of archery, they can test their aim in one of two sessions.
For outdoor-types, horse riding, mountain biking, canoeing, golf, surfing and sailing are all on offer. Indoor rock-climbing and even a self-defence course are available too.
Most activities are $5 or $10 per session, with activities that require a few more resources costing $15 to $30. There is a free bus service for transport to some sessions, too.
Check out the Council website if your teenager wants to get involved in these fun activities near Caboolture real estate this summer.
