If you're a music lover living in Caboolture real estate, you're in for a treat this November, with Australian music legends John Farnham and The Seekers performing together for the first time in history. The one-off concert will be part of the inaugural Decades Festival being hosted by the Morton Bay council.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see these two Australian legends is happening at the Pine Rivers Park Amphitheatre on 18 October. The Decades Festival itself aims to let residents relive the the best fashion, cars and music of the 50s through to the 90s with a wide range of different musical guests playing.
Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor Allan Sutherland said there was no better way to kick off the festival than with these two Australian legends of music to perform side-by-side.
"The Seekers and John Farnham are music royalty and have provided the soundtrack to most Australians' lives. We are honoured to provide this one-off concert experience right here in the Moreton Bay Region," said Mayor Sutherland in a August 21 statement.
Tickets went on sale 21 August and are still available, so prepare for a wonderful evening out with some of Australia's most iconic tunes this October.
