The Moreton Bay region is a great place to raise a family but when the school holidays come around, you might be left wondering how to keep your kids entertained.
One of the advantages of living in a family-friendly area such as this is that there's always something to see and do – and this is certainly the case during the July break.
From 30 June to 11 July , teenagers who live in Morayfield real estate or any other part of the Moreton Bay region are invited to take part in low-cost, high-adrenaline activities.
All sorts of activities are available, ranging from skateboarding to sailing, laser tag to abseiling, so there's sure to be something for everybody.
The program, known as SHAFT, has proved a success in previous years, so why not see what it has to offer your kids?
Moreton Bay Regional Council parks, recreation and sport spokesperson councillor Gary Parsons said places tend to fill up quickly, so it's worth showing your interest sooner rather than later.
"SHAFT is back again with plenty of activities that are affordable, accessible and a great way to stay fit and healthy," noted Mr Parsons.
"These coming school holidays we've also included tennis, inline hockey, street style hip-hop and breakdancing."
