Get your kids active in Caboolture

By James Brown

Many families relocate to Caboolture real estate in search of the good life, and if you're one of them then get your kids involved in a fun-packed schedule of events this July.

The Free Active Kids programme will be taking place from 30 June to 11 July and it's available to youngsters between the ages of three and 12.

Moreton Bay Regional Council parks, recreation and sport spokesperson Gary Parsons revealed there's something to suit every child, ranging from self-defence classes through to tennis.

"Mum and dad will have no trouble keeping the kids entertained, fit and healthy these holidays with Active Kids.

"The entire program is free, doesn't require bookings and is run by experienced and qualified staff. Bring a water bottle, sunscreen and something healthy to eat."

All you have to do is turn up at the location at the time on the website – make sure your kids are wearing enclosed shoes, as well as comfortable clothing and a hat.

A total of 20 sessions will be available throughout the Moreton Bay Region, so why not head online to see what's on offer in your local area? Who knows, they might even find a new hobby in the process!
