A recent fundraiser dinner in Morton Bay has helped to raise more than $31,000 to aid chaplaincy support programs in schools across the area, which could be a great for families living in Caboolture real estate. Mayor Allan Sutherland said there were more than 250 participants and thanked contributors for their generosity.
"It's great to see schools, businesses and community groups supporting chaplains and the great work they do with the region's students. Every cent raised goes to Scripture Union Queensland to support school chaplains in the Moreton Bay Region," said Mr Sutherland in a 19 September statement.
Chaplains provide support systems for children of all different ages and backgrounds in schools, as well as offering designed to help children deal with any rising complications or problems in their lives. These services offer a great chance for kids to get through difficult patches – so future funding of these programs is encouraged.
