Detached homes are springing up all over Queensland at the moment, so if this is the type of Caboolture real estate you’re after, there should be plenty of options available.
Figures from the Housing Industry Association (HIA) show buyers are shifting their focus towards detached houses, with approvals of up 15 per cent during the first quarter of the year.
The market has seen a rise in interest for detached homes over the last 12 months, although multi-unit dwellings are also performing well – despite a slowdown in recent times.
Overall growth in approvals for properties in Queensland was 4 per cent higher in the three months to April than it was last year, leaving plenty of property types open to you if you’re planning a move.
Warwick Temby, HIA executive director for Queensland, said there are many reasons to be optimistic in the state at the moment, bringing yet more good news to potential buyers.
He continued: “The slowdown in multi-unit approvals is not unexpected as they have been at all-time highs in recent months.
“The benefits in activity levels will continue in the industry for a good while yet as this high level of approved projects start to be delivered.”
