Dwelling approvals across the nation skyrocketed to record levels in January, with total detached house approvals growing by 8.6 per cent and multi unit dwelling approvals growing by 4.7 per cent. With total dwelling approvals reaching 17,514 across the country, this makes January's result the single highest in over 11 years.
With the strengthening real estate market highlighted by these developments, this could be great news for anyone considering home loans in Caboolture for the construction of their own property.
Housing Industry Association Senior Economist Shane Garrett said these results are just a continuation of the growing real estate market seen during the last half of 2013.
"Over the past 12 months, approvals have totalled over 182,000, the highest 12-month total since 2004. In the three months to January, approvals were at an annualised level of over 200,000," said Mr Garrett in a March 4 statement.
"This indicates that the pipeline of residential building work is looking particularly healthy. These approvals should translate into a boost in real activity on the ground over the coming months."
Now could be the perfect time to get in contact with a real estate agent to discuss the various property options available to you in the coming months.
